Julie Van Roey

Julie Van Roey obtained her Master's degree in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven in June 2018 with honours. During her Master's program, she specialised in criminal law and private law. She then followed an additional Master's degree course in Criminology, within the context of which she spent a semester at the Northeastern University in Boston.

Instead of writing a conventional Master's thesis, Julie completed internships in various branches of law, each based on a separate body of research. As part of this program, she did an internship at the Court of Cassation and with the Office of the Minister of Justice and the Pensions Ombudsman.

In March 2019, she joined GSJ advocaten, where she is part of the Real Estate, Construction Law and Public Procurement team.
