In 2026, Florence Saelemaekers obtained her Master’s degree in Law, specialising in Commercial Law, with first-class honours. During her studies, she spent two semesters studying abroad as part of the Erasmus exchange programme; first in Bologna and then in Madrid.
Even whilst still a student, she was active within GSJ, where she contributed to the book E-health and AI in healthcare: your rights and obligations as a patient and as a healthcare provider. In addition, she gained experience in the legal department of an insurance company and served as a board member of BLSC, an organisation that provides free legal advice in Dutch, French and English to those seeking assistance.
