Kristien Wevers earned her Master's degree in Law with honours at the Free University of Brussels in 2012. During her time as an undergraduate, she developed a vivid interest in company law and more specifically in intellectual property law and IT law.
After graduating, Kristien joined the Bar of Antwerp and subsequently started working with GSJ advocaten. Since then, she has been working mainly on cases pertaining to intellectual property, privacy and data protection, IT law, e-commerce and market practices, focusing especially on advising clients, drawing up contracts and conducting proceedings.
Kristien has published papers on a range of issues connected with privacy and data protection and has given talks on this particular aspect of legal practice at a number of seminars.
